Another Senate session and a COMPLETE FAILURE!

Why do they even show up?

   
We all know that our territory is in the middle of a fiscal crisis causing the loss of jobs and drastic cuts, yet all we have are senators TALKING and doing absolutely nothing to help. Hours wasted talking and listening to the sound of their voices. Many of them spent the day ‘cussing out’ the Daily News. How useless is that? Well hear what! 

2012 is here and we waiting! Senators talking and talking, chastising the Governor, talking about his administration and talking about not trusting him? You wanting access to the other branch of government’s funds? Have you lost your mind? You have access to the legislative branch and we still don’t know where the $6.9 MILLION went. Yo tink we forget? Empty drums make the most noise, but they still empty. 

You’re not punishing the Governor by not allow him to borrow money to keep people employed, you’re punishing the people to the Virgin Islands and We Won’t Forget!

The Governor has asked the Legislature to act by passing badly needed economic reform, they have said they would and here we go. 

But we know why. Most of you are in the POCKETS of the same people that need to pay more taxes. So you voted again a tax increase or no more campaign contributions for you. Well you won’t need them this year, we will see to it.

So we here at WDMDS were ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED but really not surprised!!!

Now we - your ever humble reporters here at WDMDS - have never proclaimed to be good with money, but EVEN WE know that you CAN'T SPEND WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE!!! But let's make this simple for our dear senators:

NO NEW TAX REVENUE = NO JOBS!
NO JOBS = DESTROYED COMMUNITY!!

So because OUR COWARD senators chose not do their jobs and vote for what was in the best interest of the people – the people who elected them - 500 MORE VI Government workers are losing their jobs. Not to worry, we will be making it 515 come November 2012

We all know that the Virgin Islands used to be run by Pirates but we believe even they would be shaking their heads at what the Inspector General’s Audit found at the VI Legislature! Now we know how they can build million dollar mansions, with a salary of $85K a year, with an 8% pay cut. Just TAKE the rest from us!"

No bid contracts for major VI projects, legislative equipment gone missing, millions of the public’s dollars to friendly contractors and “performance bonuses” to Senate staff. But the absolute worst of all - Cash advances for unreported personal travel by Senators with unspent monies still missing. Are you serious?!?!? Are you kidding us?!?!? 

Some of you might remember that the three blind mice, Senators Nellie “It’s all about Me” O’Reilly, Neville “Mama’s Boy” James, and Terrence “Negative” Nelson recently went to Washington D.C. (wonder who paid for that trip??) to talk about corruption in VI. Turns out they never had to leave their offices – WHAT A JOKE!!!!!

Oh and by the way – Nellie, Neville, and ‘Negative” – The last time we looked when the FBI, US Marshals, and the DEA conducted a raid of a Virgin Islands government office it was THE LEGISLATURE that they raided.

We know it's been awhile since we at WDMDS have posted updates, but our friends at the "Criminal Network" 1620 AM and Dem Man Say have still been in action, so we decided enough was enough and we HAD to let our loyal readers know what's really going on!

So - First up, our old friend, Norma Pickard Samuel. What can we say about Norma and this video, that it frankly doesn't say for itself.....
   

   
Of course, we here at WDMDS always give credit where credit is due. So, thanks to Norma's lunatic rant being posted on YouTube, going viral (over 22,000 views so far!!) and thanks to someone linking back to our previous update about Norma (Read it here), WDMDS has become an international sensation!! We made it to CNN!! 

So thank you to Norma and her pals over at the "Criminal Network and DMS" for once again helping to promote our humble website! We appreciate it. Really.
